Same-Day Delivery Service
PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
While at The Bay I worked with the Logistics and Product team to increase the usage of the same-day/next-day delivery service.
THE PROBLEM

The Project
While brainstorming solutions to this problem, it was quickly learned that in the initial release of this feature, allowing guest users to see this shipping option was descoped. Knowing that 50% of checkouts are done so with guest user it became clear that the first step would be to open this service to all users at checkout, not just signed in users.

The second phase of this project will be to expose this surface to all users throughout their buying journey. That being said, without any marketing or any exposure to this service, within the first 5 weeks post-launch, we have seen over 607 purchases made with this $10 service add-on contributing to over $132,000 in revenue.
Learnings
While this change seemed small, working
